New Technique Combines Internet of Things and Edge Computing for Improved Environmental Monitoring

A research team from Wayne State University’s Superfund Research Program, the Center for Leadership in Environmental Awareness and Research (CLEAR), has developed a new technique that combines the Internet of Things (IoT) sensor network with Edge Computing (IoTEC) to enhance environmental monitoring. The researchers published their findings in a paper titled “IoT-based edge computing (IoTEC) for improved environmental monitoring.”
